A quick response by Air Vistara to a flyer on Twitter has gone viral on the internet. Shyama Rath was filling personal details on a form on Air Vistara’s website and was unable to use the title ‘Professor’ with her gender. She took a screenshot of the page and tweeted it to Air Vistara, saying, “Common”.

The screenshot showed that soon after she entered ‘Professor’ in the title and saved the edits, it displayed the message: “Title PROFESSOR is not valid for this gender. Please change your TITLE option.”

Earlier in July, Air Vistara announced the launch of its international operations from August. As per a press release made available by the airline, Vistara will operate two daily flights to Singapore, one each from New Delhi and Mumbai, starting August 6 and August 7 respectively.

Air Vistara currently operates to 24 domestic destinations.
